70% use Pinterest to find accessories, watches and jewellery

That's insane!

If you produce accessories, watches or jewellery, and you're NOT on Pinterest you're missing a trick!

77% of weekly Pinners have discovered a new product or brand

That's a high percentage of potential buyers you are missing out on if you're not putting your products in front of them on Pinterest!

98% report trying new things after browsing Pinterest

If you have a blog of hints and tips around your industry, or interests, then what better way to get exposure for your brand than having Pinners try out your recipe, or your photography tips, or your origami folding tutorial?

1 in 2 people make a purchase after seeing a promoted pin

This sounds a little too good to be true. I can't see that if I sold a bag of poo on Pinterest that 50% of the people who see the promoted pin will buy said bag of poo.

I couldn't unfortunately (at the time of writing this post) find specific information about what type of promoted pins this referred too. Ie, were they accessories, watches and jewellery related pins since we know those products sell well on Pinterest?

I'll update the post if I can source any reliable statistics around this.

In the meantime, I'm going to promote a pin or two on a very modest budget and see what results I get.

Pinning to Pinterest

To build an audience on Pinterest the suggested Pinning frequency is 11 pins PER day.

Pinterest, within the last year, has started favouring new content. Prior to this, they would favour re-pins but to make the site more relevant and up to date, they are now rewarding new content with regards to reach.

Now it's going to be nigh impossible to create 11 new pins every day of the year!

As a photographer, I'm fortunate to have a virtually endless supply of images I can use to create 'fresh pins', but this isn't the case for many.

I've only started using Pinterest in earnest, from a business point of view for the past month (as of 17/05/2020)

My schedule is I pin 11 pins a day, 5 'fresh pins' and 6 re-pins for pins I find think will be of value to my ideal clients.

But pinning a few times a week is better than NOT pinning at all!

My Pinterest Pin Design Service

I offer various packages for pin design.

Option 1: Purchase a pack of 20 Canva templates for £29 ($35)

I have and continue to build an extensive library of templates. So rather than use the same templates that are used by Canva's 15 million-plus users, you get to choose any 20 of my templates.

The benefit of the templates is that you can change the background, or image/s on the template (simply drag and drop into the placeholders) and use the same template to create several versions, each significantly different enough to be considered 'fresh' by Pinterest. So with a set of 20 templates, you could create literally thousands of pins!!

Option 2: I create pins using my templates

You select which templates of mine you'd like, provide me with the text and your brand colours, and I'll create the pins for you. Packages available: 10 pins - £25

20 pins - £46

30 pins - £63

40 pins - £76

50 pins - £85

60 pins - £90

Option 3: Custom Pin/Template Creation

I'll create a unique pin/template for your brand, this includes inserting a logo if you have one and use of one of my images for complete uniqueness. You can use this template to create several pins, simply change the background or images (simple drag and drop), perhaps change the text colour, change the font, the combinations are endless!

1 - 5 pins/templates - £15/$18 each

6 - 10 pins/templates - £13.50/$16 each

10 - 19 pins/templates - £12/$14.50 each

20+ pins/templates - £10/$12 each
